American Hardwood Industries formed

Effective October 15, 2007, Rossi American Hardwoods and Hardwood Lumber Manufacturing were merged to form American Hardwood Industries, Inc. This transaction creates one of the leading hardwood platforms in the American hardwood industry, with fine hardwood lumber, logs and byproducts produced by Graham Lumber, Emporium Hardwoods, Blue Triangle Hardwoods and Northern Hardwoods.

American Hardwood Industries will have production facilities throughout the eastern USA and capacity of over 150 million board feet (350,000 cubic metres), and will be one of the largest and most diverse manufacturers of sawn hardwood lumber in the USA.

With strong financial resources, including the backing of HIG Capital, a leading global investment firm with over $4 billion of investments, American Hardwood Industries will be actively seeking opportunities with partners that share their basic business strategy and commitment to build relationships worldwide.
